Leah brings to each client her unique combination of creative and strategic skills she attributes first to her parents who raised her to love and make her living in the arts. But the first masterpiece of art that made Leah’s heart truly pound was the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile as it drove up her street. It had breathtaking architecture and a wonderful character, “Little Oscar.” He gave everyone free mini hotdogs and whistles and told a story about Oscar Mayer’s dream while a jingle played that Leah has never forgotten. And neither has the rest of the world. Leah fell in love at age seven with the synergy of a unique vision, great product, strategy, story, artistic creativity, profits, and human connection. Or what in marketing today is known as branding.

Leah’s signature skill for listening for and cultivating the simple heart and core of an emotion based business story comes first from writing for children of all ages. As the author and marketer of 19 popular and bestselling books for children published by HarperCollins and Random House); Leah learned what it takes to make story authentic, memorable and repeatable. Then, as a best selling memoir author of her story about aging, “Am I Old Yet?” (that Jamie Lee Curtis optioned for television); Leah guest taught and coached over 200 memoir students ages 25 through 80 at UCLA. Here she discovered that like in your marketing, uncovering your voice is more than a nice story – it’s your bottom line.

Finally, having many years back been one of the pioneer women stand-up comics at The Improv in L.A.; Leah learned quickly that in comedy, like in marketing, the audience decides within the first five seconds whether or not you are going to bomb. Also, that some laughter at yourself is essential for survival in business.
