The creator of iconic brand Isabella Fiore started her first business in her mid forties designing silk flower pins and brought in Leah to help. Her challenge was wanting to build a big accessories business on a small budget and combine it with her passion for fashion and antique jewelry. The solution and plan was to design and manufacture handbags that included fashion design with flowers and jewelry. Leah helped design the marketing campaign and slogan around the designer’s strengths and fears and the platform “Predictably Unpredictable” was born. With a manufacturing schedule that consistently changed handbag design; (in contrast to the standard operating of the rest of the industry); combined with a grassroots PR campaign, the line steadily took off. From start-up to an iconic brand in five years. Leah is now a consultant for the founder’s second successful leather goods company, Lockheart.

LIZ CLAIBORNE, INC. – Embraces All That A Woman Is

Established leading woman’s fashion brand, Liz Claiborne, Inc, hired Leah to produce product for a first Liz cause-marketing initiative. The agenda was to appeal to the best that a woman (their customer base) is while pleasing stockholders, sending a compelling and heartwarming message to the media and granting proceeds to select non-profits. Leah guided the content for her concept “All Mothers Are Working Mothers” into a product about working mothers as seen through the eyes of their children. Guiding the project from concept through production, press conferences and marketing efforts; the deliverable increased positive brand recognition and loyalty and was lauded as “sweet genius” by global renaissance woman and poet, Maya Angelou. The project also raised the bar for corporate marketing and philanthropy in America.

Queen of Your Own LifeQUEEN OF YOUR OWN LIFE – Dreams into Royal Reality

A national movement, Queen of Your Own Life, is an invitation to happiness for women in mid-life, and became a bestselling book written by two celebrity mid life women. With only the book and a website, they informed Leah (with a smile), their goal was “world dominance.” Leah ran with that forming an alliance between “The Queens”, and Philosophy Skincare. Leah’s strategy combined the author’s message and their celebrity along with the creation of an exclusive skincare gift product resulting in increased visibility, client bases and revenue. Philosophy also thereby ventured into a first exclusive product branded for the 45+ women’s market.
